Contact Centre Team Leader
We are looking for a focused and enthusiastic Team Leader to manage a team of approximately nine inbound contact centre agents.
Your main duties will include: -
- Overseeing the recruitment of new staff, including training and induction
- Ensuring adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload
- Carrying out staff appraisals, managing performance and disciplining staff
- Promoting staff development and training
- To manage the call escalation process, handle complaint calls and report and analyse key performance metrics.
- To negotiate payments and/or arrangements over the telephone and maximize debt recovery whilst ensuring that customer service standards and client guidelines are maintained.
The ideal candidate must have proven team leader experience, have demonstrated excellent coaching skills with the ability to develop individuals’ performance. You must have a strong focus on achieving targets whilst ensuring ongoing staff development through mentoring and coaching. Experience of working in a call centre environment with a dialer is desirable. You must possess good communication and leadership skills and have a proactive attitude. Good IT, organisational and administrative skills are essential.
