Mick Chew, MCIPD MIFL PGCE

Mick is a retired police officer having served to the rank of Superintendent in Greater Manchester Police. As a long serving member of The Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, Mick has worked for various colleges delivering management courses and courses related to the Security Industry. He has also provided a variety of business development support and consultancy for private training providers. He is a qualified teacher and now has over 10 years experience as a professional trainer. He enjoys developing bespoke training to satisfy specific needs particularly around areas such as, personal safety, conflict management, HR, including recruit selection, interview skills and training the trainer.

Rushcliffe Borough Council has used the services of Rossendales Training Ltd to deliver training to Revenues Services staff on a range of Council Tax topics from advanced liability issues to detailed and technical enforcement matters.  The courses are interactive and the training has always been delivered to the highest standards. All training courses are supported by comprehensive and detailed training course material that can be used as an aide memoir for practitioners.  Courses have been run at Rushcliffe not only for the benefit of Rushcliffe Revenues Services staff but also for the benefit of Revenues staff from other authorities within the East Midlands region. I would have no hesitation in recommending any of these training courses to any colleagues whose staff may have training needs.
