Successful Tender For Revenues Training Contract

Rossendales Training successfully winning 3 year Revenues training contract.

The board of directors are pleased to announce they have recently won a 3 year Revenues training contract beating of stiff completion.

On appointing Rossendales Simon Doyle Performance Manager (Southwest One for Taunton Deane Borough Council) commented:

“Rossendales have recently been onsite for 4 days to provide our Revenues staff with an overview of Council Tax and Business Rates as we are about to restructure our Revenues Team to facilitate generic working.

A few members of staff were obviously a bit apprehensive about the change in their roles, so it was important the training was clear and concise, as well as providing a great deal of detail in the areas that would be new to them.

The feedback from these sessions has been excellent.  The course notes were very comprehensive and completely up to date with the 2010 changes.  Everyone commented that the training was very effective and would enable them to take on the generic roles.

Everyone liked Chris’ style of delivery and he managed to make a ‘dry’ subject like Business Rates interesting.

We recently invited training providers to tender for a 3 year contract to provide onsite training to our Revenues team with refresher or new legislation training. We had no hesitation in awarding the contract to Rossendales.  Their proposal was very in-depth, the array of subjects they cover is very comprehensive, the pool of trainers they can call on is very impressive and their pricing proposal demonstrated real value for money.

We look forward to working with Rossendales in the future and have not hesitation in recommending them to other local authority Revenues teams”.
